On Friday, March 13th, I-DIEM hosted the first Virtual Convening on the Coronavirus and Equity in Response.  The call was intended to amplify the need for an equitable response and operational framework for not only community serving non-profits, but also for emergency management organizations who may not have considered the broader equity issues that will arise from this Coronavirus outbreak.

We appreciate our featured experts:

  • Nicolette Louissaint, Executive Director, Healthcare Ready
  • Lauren Powell, Executive Director, Time’s Up Healthcare
  • Vincent Davis, Director of Disaster Services, Feeding America
  • Marcie Roth, Executive Director and CEO, World Institute on Disability
