Jose Alfaro

President of Strategic Growth and Partnerships

Jose Alfaro serves as President of Strategic Growth and Partnerships at Indelible. He possesses over a decade of experience in executing programmatic missions while helping ensure regulatory compliance in the administration of public programs and services for federal, state, and local governments. A former Director at one of the largest professional services firms in the world, Jose has managed high-functioning teams, helped clients navigate complex regulatory environments, and led business development and organizational growth. 

Before joining Indelible, Jose was a Director in KPMG’s state and local government practice. There, he was responsible for leading teams in planning and executing multifaceted regulatory compliance consulting projects for FEMA PA and HUD CDBG-DR, while helping grow KPMG’s Florida account to become one of the firm’s premier accounts by measurable growth metrics. Jose’s career began in state government, first at the Florida Department of Financial Services in a financial reporting role under CFO Jeff Atwater, then at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity in a regulatory compliance role with oversight of U.S. Department of Labor funds.

Jose, fluent in Spanish, was born in Nicaragua and immigrated to the U.S. with his family when he was ten. He attended public school in Miami before moving to Tallahassee, where he received dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Accounting and a minor in Applied Economics from Florida State University. He has a long history of community participation, including involvement in English as a second language volunteer programs, youth sports coaching, and membership in professional associations such as the Association of Government Accountants, Government Finance Officers Association, Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Project Management Institute.
