Crisis Response Strategic Partnerships, Google Search
Ruha Devanesan leads crisis response product partnerships at Google Search, making critical information more accessible in times of disaster through Google Search and other products. Prior to this role, she was a Diversity & Inclusion strategy advisor for several product areas at Google including Daydream (VR), and led D&I at Symantec for three years prior. Ruha has a J.D. and Masters in International Relations from Boston University and is a former Fellow of the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School. Areas of expertise include crisis alerting technologies, designing for equitable access, international human rights law, community disaster preparedness, and information and communication technology for development (ICT4D).
