Diversifying Volunteers: Recruitment and Retention

Increasing representation of women and people of color is a top priority for many emergency management organizations. Ensuring the organization selects volunteers and workers that have a broad mix of talent that reflects the communities served is key. This course will allow course participants to gain a greater understanding of diversity and inclusion and understand why it is a crucial success factor.
